its cold and raining here in miss. this morning i should bein my deer stand waiting for that big buck to come out...i ve been waiting on that deer all season and he aint showed yet....i know he s still around because i see his track from time to time...would like to get a shot at him with the 3 frame parker 12 ga she shoots slugs good out to 50 yards out of the right barrel..the left barrel does better with buckshot...this makes for a good loading for deer close up...finally found a clip that will fit in my remington pump 270 i had lost that clip 7 years ago...this old pump has brought home the meat several times for me...will stay by the heater for now day dreaming about hunts long past....charlie

Wise move Charlie, they don't move much in that kind of weather. The only thing you are sure to get is a wet butt.

Ms rain

Charlie I just spent last weekend in Tunica Ms at Beaver Dam lake supposed to be hunting Ducks. Where are they? Hunting off 80% four of us got 10 ducks in the rain. However ate well and heard good sound at Ground Zero in Clarksdale. No story to tell as I was hoping for PP article. Stay dry. My EH 10 got drenched in spite of being in a blind with a top!!!

David, I’ve been reading for a few years now that Beaverdam Lake has been suffering very low duck numbers. I too wanted you to have a great hunt and a fantastic story for PP.
