Not a Turkey Gun?
1 Attachment(s)
I picked up this nice PH this past weekend. It is built on a #1 frame and has a (much coveted by me) fishtail lever. It's nearly 4 inch chokes are .016/.031. The gun weighs 7 lbs. 5 oz. -- probably not the quintessential turkey gun, but on a whim I took it out this morning to the farm. Within about 2 minutes of fly down this Tom strutted into a 1 oz. charge of number 6 shot fired from the left barrel. Sometimes things just work out, especially if you know you have limitations.

He must of heard you had a new gun and wanted to come see it. Have a friend that wants to start turkey hunting with a 410. I think your gun is more of turkey gun then that.

Nice work Garry!
Yeah, that's a turkey gun for sure! . |
Love it!

Nice job. At just after daylight this morning there were 3 Toms strutting their stuff behind the house. Season will be open when I return from the Southern and I have hopes of joining you Garry in the ranks of successful turkey hunters with a Parker. Congrats !

Nice job! I have a similar PH that I take turkey hunting.

Imagine how dead that turkey would be if you used a real turkey gun!

Nice and easy.

Good job Garry. You can't help but love a #1 frame 12ga. I sure love mine.
