New member old gun

Hello all,
We have a family heirloom that was passed along to me which I cannot keep do to the fact that I am not currently living in the U.S. (non-military) and cannot import it. I am in the U.S. now though trying to get this and a few other things sorted before I go back. My parents’ house is in Jacksonville, Florida. I read through the forum advice and what I thought was pretty straightforward instructions turned out to be a really time consuming job! I think I’ve gathered the correct information though and am really interested in your opinion of what it’s worth. This gun has literally been in my fathers’ closet for about 30+ years and has never been shot by him or me out of fear of damaging it. We have the following: Parker Brothers Double-Barrel Shotgun Side by side Hammerless 12-gauge SN: 156611 Date: 1911 Grade: 0 - V Vulcan Steel Frame size: 2 Weight: 4 (6) Barrel: 32” See attachted photos. Thank you in advance for your help. |
