Factory shell pressures?

4 Attachment(s)
This is not a reloading question. I am wondering if anyone has tested pressure results from either of these factory 12 gauge loads.
The first in question is Westley Richards Supreme game loads 2 1/2" 30 grams 1 1/16 oz. nickel plated #7. I believe they are Lylevale Express manufacture which was one that Michael McIntosh spoke well of. I shot these years ago in a Husqvarna 310 AS and they were amazing on pheasants. I have a lot left and would like to use them up in some Parkers but need a pressure check first.
Next is B&P 2 3/4" 33 gram 1 1/6 oz. #6 (spreader- dispersante loads). I have not shot any of these and do not know if they are suitable for vintage guns.
Any information on either of these will be appreciated. I have 3 flats just taking up space. Thank You

I would hate to guess how many regular, and even magnum loads have been shot through our old SxSs. I know as a kid we use to shoot anything we could find and never gave it a second thought. I think sometimes we worry too much. You may not get a answer to your question but good luck.

As far as the Westley Richards go, I have shot the same 12 ga load in 5s at wild Iowa roosters and they work perfectly. My Parker 12s, twist, Damascus or fluid digest them without issue. I don't know about B&P.

I must admit that before I became "enlightened" regarding low pressure loads I shot some pretty stout loads in everything that I owned. The bulk of the shells that I owned in the '70's through the '90's were "express" or "super X" or magnum of one sort or another. Then I began wild quail hunting on Eastern Shore with a 20 ga and cheap 7 1/2 or 8 shot. I was astounded to see clean kills out to 45 yds. with 7 1/2s!! Sometimes life teaches you as you go, but you have to be listening...!
