Video's and Pictures from Northeast SxS Shoot
Here are some pictures I took at the Northeast SxS shoot at Hausmann's Hidden Hollow. I'm just learning how to use this camera for pictures and video's so bear with me. Hopefully, the video's will show Deb Frey, Larry Frey, Dean Romig, and George Purtill shooting the Main Event this past Saturday.

Nice job Chuck. What, no pics of you shooting your highest to date smallbore score?

Daryl, that was the best round I ever shot on a sporting clays course regardless of gauge ! Daryl let me shoot his VHE 28ga. with 30" full and full barrels. It just crushed targets! It was my first time shooting a 28ga. gun. Now I understand what all the fuss is about shooting this little gun. Thanks Daryl, it made my weekend!

Chuck, it was great fun to watch you shoot that little Parker so well!!

Chuck... All kidding aside. I was great to see you shoot a great score with Daryls wonderful 28. Nice job on the pictures and video. Thanks!

I'm glad you enjoyed it Chuck and anytime we shoot together you are welcome to use it. I told you it was like a magic wand if you just forget about the F/F chokes and the tiny 3/4oz. payload. For some reason I too shoot the smallbore guns, either Parker or Fox, as well if not better than my 12's. Now you have to get a 28ga. reloader to cut the cost down so you can shoot it more.
BTW... I tried my first box of RST spreader loads with my insanely tightly choked 20 SW Fox. IMHO much ado about nothing. I did'nt see any difference in score, in fact I shot a better score with my own handloads than I did with the expensive RST's. You're mileage may vary but I quit worrying about chokes long ago. |
