P.S. stamped on barrel flat

I have a 12 ga GH with P.S. stamped on the barrel flats. Can anyone enlighten me as to what that means?

P.S. is the barrel steel mark for Parker Special.

Thanks for the responses. I was making that assumption but we all know what that can lead to.
