Local Old Car Sighting for Charlie
This week, I had a rare sighting near my house, on the road. It was a now very scarce 1949 Anglia, (English Ford), in fully restored condition. I haven't seen one of these since my drag racing days, where most of the U.S. supply of '48 and '49 Anglias went to be destroyed. I have lived near where I saw the car for 44 years and this is my first sighting. I guess I'll have to start going to car shows.

Charlie, my dream street car is an original '39 to '42 Willys coupe. Of course, the Anglia is even harder to find than the Willys.

Bill , we had a 1949 Anglia Prefect when I was growing up and it sat in Dads barn for years ,when he passed a way a few years ago we sold it at auction ,by then it was in rough shape and only brought a couple of hundred dollars !
