I noticed the 8ga Lefever and the 8 ga Parker. The bores are both around
.900'' is that normal?

I sure wish I could attend this auction, not to buy, just to look. Anyone else receive their catalog #2 from Julia? Probably the most unbelievable auction of world class doubles ever assembled. If you like Model 21s, this is definitely the place to be.

What did the 8 gauge Parker and Lefever go for ?

CraigThompson 10-19-2014 01:28 PM

Parker was something like $12,500 and the Lefever was something like $15,500. Of course, that was without the buyer's premium and shipping, insurance, etc

Based on other prices I have seen or am aware of that Parker wasn't a bad buy considering with 120 rounds of factory BP ammo .

Well that is if it met the reserve !

Bill Murphy 10-22-2014 08:22 AM

Both of those guns made a reserve, if one was placed on them.

Some fine pieces remain unsold, including a few good Parkers, offers still being considered as of this late date.

I believe if I had intentions of buying either of them I would have gone to the auction and brought them back with me in my vehicle . Then there would be no need for shipping , insurance and the worry with UPS/FEDEX/USPS .
