This is one of the guns made for the 1876 Centennial, unusual in that it has stepped side plates, 40 thousands to be exact. 300.00 dollar grade 12 gauge 28" Damascus barrels, Ser # 6966, probably 6 photos, Gary

Gary, is the LOP exceptionally short in picture #4 or is it just the POW grip that makes it look that way?

Interesting transitions--one piece lifter and recessed hinge pin, but keyed forend and offset firing pins. The condition is fantastic!
