I ended up putting a set of 20 gauge barrels on a 12 gauge Model 21 (don't ask) but it resulted in a failure to fire because the firing pin hit off center. And, I missed the grouse

That's pretty sad John..... Couldn't you come up with a more romantic reason for missing the grouse?.... like "His explosive flush occurred with such enthusiasm that the rush of the air over his primaries coupled with the dry leaves and detritus lifting from the forest floor obscured my vision of "His Majesty, The Grouse" as he darted behind the nearest Thornapple tree, that I couldn't possibly have centered him in my Parker's pattern."

I've got a million of 'em. A different one for every miss....
