Dugout....
A friend of mine has been working for months on an old time dugout pirogue boat. He's finished it and done the official christening. Here's a link to the video, you may have to be a Facebook member to view it. Not Parker related, but just a great piece of vintage style work.

very cool -
although sub titles might have helped in a couple spots bon ami i think it was Nash Buckingham who said when you are in a pirogue, don't change your mind or shift your chewing gum  |
Probably really cool but I don't "facebook" so...

Really nice. Great video. I don’t have Facebook and I was able to click on the link and watch.

I applaud his handiwork but for me, an Old Town canoe would be preferred and safer or perhaps more stable.

I can appreciate any man who can build a boat.Check jimsboatworks.com

Jim,
Those are beautiful little craft you've built. I have a love affair with Barnegat Bay Sneak Boxes. Yours are just like the originals. Harry |
Loved it ! I had no issue understanding him ...but then again look where i'm from:p thanks Destry !

I know he said it took two months, but man how many hours went in to that ! What a great thing to keep alive
