tried a 20 ga this evening a 3 inch magnum auto useing the magnum 4-5-7 load at 60 yards 1 shot in dr pepper can tried a no 5 lead load at 60 only 2 hits....i seen this 20 ga is not a 60 yard gun moved to 47 yards no 5 lead put 8 holes in can....one more time no 4 load at 47 yards put 5 shot in the can.....my way of thinking this 20 ga charles daly is a 40 yard gun on turkeys found out it snaps about every other shell.....so will leave this little 20 ga to my grandson for a good cleaning and in spection.....gona barrow a pump 20 3 inch gun for tommorrows hunt....my first gun i used last saturday had loading problems....guess i should have used athe parker 3 frame 3 1/2 inch gun.....charlie

Try 32 grs bluedot with 1 1/2 oz 6 s out of the 10 ga. I found it shot the best patterns in my 10 s. Better than 1 5/8 ths and 1 3/4 oz loads. 6 s shot better than 4 s too. Slow your fps down and you should get better patterns. You dont need fast loads to shoot turkey. They stand still.
Good luck !

I keep a dozen 2 7/8" loaded with 30 grains SR7625 a SP-10 wad , 1 1/2 ounce #4 an overshot card and fold crimped . Also have a half dozen the same way with #6's . I use the overshot card more to keep the crimp flat that anything else .
