Thanks:corn:

Once again I'm going out on a limb here and say the barrels were not engraved by Parker Bros.

Dean, have you ever seen any added engraving?

I've seen a lot of "added engraving" and very little of it can be attributed to Parker Bros.

When I first seen it, I thought the same thing.. Someone loved this gun and paid somenone to engrave it.. I am now very interested in the letter.. Perhaps the barrels were changed.. Thanks for your opinion!

Bill, How about some more pictures of the "Ol girl"? Some of us have this thing about naming our guns. How about "The Hawaiian" A 1 frame 12 sweet.

Seriously Bill the engraving is one of a kind and unlike anything I've ever seen. The arrow heads are just like the Sterlingworth engraving so maybe there is a connection to someone at Fox. Overall it's not that bad and is certainly unique. A letter might shed some light on it. Good luck.

The pineapple was a colonial symbol of wealth and welcome, might be the basis to the engraving.

Post a picture of the serial number on the barrel lug. That picture may give us a clue.
