Who is planning on going to the Old Baltimore Gun Show this month? I'm planning on being there Saturday.

If you have a table set up, how about telling us the isle location.

I will definitely be there. IMHO it is the best one in this area. The kids love it too.

Kevin McCormack and I will be in our normal location in the first row, tables B-4 and B-5. We will not have our normal Parker display this year. This year's display will be "Model 21 Winchesters". You will enjoy it. There will be some surprises that you will enjoy. Kevin and I, especially Kevin, work hard on our annual one table displays and Kevin has won many awards at the Maryland Arms Collectors shows.

I will be there for the first time. I'm usually skiing out west.

I'll be there friday for set-up, Chuck. If you want to put that box of shells on my table, you're free to do so.

Since there will a good representation of fellow PGCA members at this show is there anyone interested in getting together Fri. or Sat. night for dinner? There is a fine restaurant just across the street who happens to be one of my good customers and I'd be happy to set something up for our group. If so give me a head count.

Daryl, I seldom hang around after the show, but Kevin stays over, so let me know what place you are referring to and I'll change my plans. Edgar, no one ever brings anything by our table, even though it is the first row in the show. There are a couple of notable exceptions, though.

Bill;
It's called Michael's and it's directly across from the fairgrounds.

Daryl, do you have an idea which might?

Chuck Bishop

Some of the regular PGCA guys that have tables at the show every year get together for dinner at some Crab shack on the east side of Baltimore. Maybe one of them will chime in.

I had crabs once when I was a kid working on an ocean going tug. Never again.

Edgar, if your crabs were that big, how did they taste?

You would need quite a few to make a meal, but I didn't need dancing lessons after them. As I recall, everyone on the crew had them. I can't even brag of catching them in the 'traditional' manner.

Edgar;
Either night would be fine with me. We could do both. Right now Bob and Sandy Rambler are on for Sat. so the more the merrier. Our local blue crab season is over but I can turn you on to a great crabcake for which our area is known for.

Daryl,

I will be in E at my dads booth all day Saturday. So where is everyone going Friday night and Saturday then? I think ocean pride and or michaels are easy but I am sure both will be packed due to the show.

I will be attending this show for the first time, any tips on the best place to park ect? Any chance on getting in on Friday? I will have a Parker Snow Musket with the Miller conversion for sale.

Bill Murphy usually posts parking info, maybe he will see this but if not, here is where you can park.

I think I have the basic info correct. Just behind the show is a Metro train station parking lot. It's free. Park there, find the pedestrian crossing over the railroad tracks, the back gate is open, walk around the side of the Fairground building to the front where you will find the booth to buy tickets and enter the building.

Chuck, I think I told you my table was M27, but it is M24.
I couldn't find any PGCA guys at close up time, so perhaaps tomorrow we can have dinner together. One member bought some syrup, but there's a dozen or so more under the table. VERY few Parkers, and what there was, was riden hard and hung up set. Oh, Chuck, there's a half-frame VH against the front wall near the back exit doors. Not my cup of tea at 3595.

Edgar, see you tomorrow morning. I gave Allan Swanson the cartridges to give to you.

Chuck, thanks for posting my parking suggestions. You got it right. Saturday 5:00 PM can be a bear getting out of the fairgrounds parking area.

I hear (from over on the Fox forums) that a lady walked in on Saturday with a graded (GH or DH) 28 ga. They claim that the lady was soon surrounded by the Parker folks!!

Anyone have any details on this (the gun, not the lady!)?
