I like the new picture on the web page of the SBT. I like to shoot my SBT. It always attracts attention at a range and is just a lot of fun to shoot.

I have always thought they were the yet to be discovered value in the Parker world. Sort of like the Damascus barreled beauties we all rave about and lust after were 10-15 years ago. You can buy a pretty nice SBT for less than most doubles and not much more if any than a current modern gun.

SBT's remain very elegant when compared to the space gun monstrosities out on the ranges with adjustable everything. SBT's shoot great and will be shooting far longer than 99% of their competitors. If they are ever opened up it is for cleaning rather than repair of a failed part.

Yes they are wonderful guns and I think they are the most undervalued of all the Parker's out there. But I believe that will change. This Dannys SBT.

I shot a round today with this one. A friends B grade SBT. First time I ever shot it and shot a 23x25. A wonderful gun.

Yeah, as a "privileged child of a board member", Danny would have a gold inlaid Parker single. Of course, he can probably beat his Dad in a shootoff. Mike, you mean your gun is our gun of the month and you can't see it? That is a great single. Is it a full Del Grego restoration? I love it.

No Bill, I had no idea my gun is the gun of the month! That's really cool. I'll figure out a way to see it. I bought the gun in its present condition. When I first posted pics of it a couple years ago you suspected it was a Del Grego restore. It has their recoil pad so probably is. Is there any way to tell?

No Bill, I had no idea my gun is the gun of the month! ...?Yep - as I read threads and look at album pics - sometimes I stumble across a wonderful Parker picture, and note it for a monthly Website cover shot...

Congrats!!!

If you know the last name of the person who owned the gun when Del Grego worked on it, they can give you information about the restoration. They do not keep records by serial number unless they started recently.

I just put a check in the mail to get a research letter on the gun. I've heard that some of those early SBT's might have been ordered by pro trap shooters.
