Just an FYI on a Ebay listing for a "Catalog 83" as a poor example of
a fake catalog.

The Parker Story Volume II or the BBS are good sources to verify
authenticity of Parker paper.

You mean this is not a 60's or 70's reprint as advertised? I guess we have to start watching out for faked reprints now??:):)

The letter dated 1973 is a pretty good indicator as well.

It will never sell at that price. But it is a really high quality reprint, you can tell just from the paper.

Mark, is your reference to "Catalog 83" a tongue in cheek reference or a real reference from Addenda in TPS. If it is tongue in cheek, it is great.

In my experience, this "repro" catalog cover is not a reproduction of any Parker catalog cover I am aware of. I guess the contents are from the 1926 green catalog, but I'm not sure all pages are included. This would be item #84 in The Parker Story.
