Dean, Larry and I have commited for the weekend. Egger said he would do a day or 2. I am sure we could use a couple more volunteers.

Dave, I'm busy the day George works the table. Not sure which day that is, but I know I have something going on. And If I don't, I'll make something up.

George, We would be more than happy to have you. I am sure we could use some guns to display. Folks are getting tired of seeing our old stuff. I just hope that you and Egger can learn to get along.....:corn:

Dave, I'll post Friday on my calendar for 2013. Of course, this all assumes we don't all fall off the cliff between now and then!

See you in Hartford at the show. I'm happy to bring along my grandfather's little 16 VH - that I had DelGrego do a complete restoration about 4 years ago.

Rgds, Allen:bigbye:

Allen, That would be great. Our booth is going to be right next to The Ruff Grouse Society's booth so the PGCA theme will be upland guns.

I'll take a look see at the dates with Jen, as her folks live "just down the road a'piece".. How many Parkers do you guys need? I might be able to assist with one - or two - or so....?

Anyone bringing a yellow towel for photos???

;)

John

JD, It would be great to have you. A couple of guns would be great. Will these be guns you are returning to their owners?.....

John Dunkle

If they bring the cash - I'll return them.. I was thinking about "returning" Danny's .410.. How much cash are you bringing???

;)

Good point Dave
I think it is time that all those Parkers were returned to Connecticut.
You, me , Larry and Teggar can safeguard them.

I might be able to find an "upland gun" or two somewhere around the house... it it wouldn't be too boring

I seem to have a loose forend that turned up recently... from a small bore DH I believe.

Fortunately - that gun was returned to its rightful owner... I'll let him know that you "discovered" another matching forend, however....

In all seriousness - I'm still trying to figure out if I can attend. BUT - if we all can make it, can we coordinate offline what we are bringing for Parkers?? It wouldn't make sense if all of us showed up with our AAHEs? It would be nice if we could round out gauges and grades for the display...

Just a thought...

John

Grandfather's doublegun completely restored by DelGrego's about 5 years ago. Believe me it needed it!

I can bring whatever might fill a void in small bore upland guns...(within reason).

I wanted to thank you guys for coming to the show. Kristie works very hard on this show and she is always looking for new draws. I know this might not be the best place to showcase these fine guns but it is very important to her and I to have CT.gun heritage proudly represented. Perhaps some of the others will follow your lead in the future. It would be a wonderful sight to see all the CT based companies represented. I think too many people who may walk through the show have no idea how big CT was in gun manufacture even with the old Colt building right next door to the Convention center. This show is in the heart of the gun valley and people should know this and be proud of it!

This will be a good departure from looking at all this white stuff.
Refresh everyone's recollection with times, hours and prices.
Thanks Keith
We look forward to seeing you!

Because of the blizzard, and the length of time it took Stratford to get Mr. Adoptable plowed out, he has informed me that he won't be able to get to Hartford for the set-up on Friday. Consequently, the PCGA booth will only be set up Saturday and Sunday. Personally, I think he just couldn't face dealing with George for three days.

Keith Bedard

I hope you guys can work out the details as it does not look good to open a show with an empty booth. I will send someone to pick up whatever you nned so at least the booth is marked and not sitting empty. Please let me know

A few pictutes of set up at the show. It was our first year displaying at this particular venue. We were well recieved and the show attendees kept us very busy all three days. Thank you to George and Edger for stepping up and manning the both on Friday as Larry and I were playing catch-up at our respective businesses following the nasty storm.

I would like to thank everyone who participated in the Northeast Hunting and Fishing Show. I know it was difficult due to the weather just prior to the show and it took a lot of effort to coordinate. Edgar, Dave, George, Larry did a wonderful job on the booth and it seemed to have quite a bit of traffic. Thank you Dave for making time to get up here and making it happen, it was greatly appreciated.
