I saw in the technical information area of the website that Parker lists Twist barrels (for 5122 guns) and Plain Twist barrels (for 49,317 guns), what is the difference? Also, my 10 ga has Stub Twist on the rib, which category does that fall in to?
Thanks,
Jack Kuzepski

From a Parker point of view there is no practical difference between Twist and Plain Twist. Nomenclature as well as suppliers changed over the years. Stub Twist is another catagory and was (is) thought to be a little better barrel than the others.

What's the symbol for plain twist & twist (as indicated on the receiver) ?
Are both represented by the "T" with the semi-circles above & below it ?
