Hi my name is Andy Kelley and I have just joined this wonderful association. I have a lot to learn and I look forward to meeting the membership at various gatherings. Most of my guns are British although I currently own three Parkers which I shoot and hunt with.On a personal note ,I am retired have a wife and three sons who also shoot. Am also a Viet Nam vet and served with the 5 th Special Forces .Hope my questions on the forum bring into question my sanity or bore anyone to death.

I was very fortunate in that I never had to leave the USA:) I just missed the first sand box conflict in 1971 also. When I was in the military I didn't care for it at all, now I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. A young man can learn alot by serving a few years in our armed forces. Now I wished I had stayed as I would have a pension and health care. hindsight is always crystal clear.

Yes they were Steve .I learned quickly the meaning of run for your life.

I checked into Pensacola in 68 and did not get my wings until 71. Then they sent us to a bunch of schools and the war was winding down. I joined the squadron as they were about to leave VN and when we were about to go back, six months later; they cancelled our deployment. I saw little combat, but just flying that thing was excitement enough.
