Several people have ask for Dave's phone number so here is his info:
Dave Wolf - 254-662-6431 or cell 254-744-9973
Dave is not cheap but it will be done right and he will correct any problems he finds inside the stock as well. Great guy and very, fast.

Wow! Wonderful job.
That was a true artist's work.
Thanks for sharing these pictures
(I am trying to figure out how to put cell phone pictures into my pc, then on to sites.......trouble with being a 70 year old curmudgeon.)
Thanks again,

Looks like a great job, Dave is known for such work! About two years ago I met someone at a gun show walking a high grade Fox around which had a butt extension added by a very well known smith. He said when he got it back it looked great but after a couple of months the joint could be felt as humidity apparently changed things and so decided to sell it. What is applied between the sanded repair and the final finish to keep the wood from any surface changes in height due to humidity? Tom.

I have no idea what Dave uses, but I've had him do a number of guns for me and my friends and have yet to have any problems with any of them. His work has been top notch for me and I highly recommend him for any stock work.
