Just a few pictures in the Life of a Setter.
Sorry to say no birds were killed. This was more of a walk in the bush for the pup. :)

Great pictures, Dave. Looks like they are both doing fine. Did you get Sadie into any woodcock?

I'll be taking Chase and Tess up Friday for Tess' first venture into the woods and will post picts when I get back, when ever that will be.

It was a pretty short walk, and no woodcock.
Only spent about 30 minutes in the woods.
Sadie tried to keep up with Mickey for a little bit, but her legs are pretty short yet.

Did Bolyard teach that pup to smoke a cigar or will you have to do it yourself?

Bruce,
As much trouble as this little shit gets into, I don't think it will be a problem at all, getting her to smoke cigars. :)

Dave and Bruce,

I did what I swore up and down I would not do,:banghead: I kept one of Judy's pups. Although she has not taken well to the Cigar training she does like Quail.

That bird is almost as big as the dog. *wink*

I learned cigar smoking from my Uncle Phillip, he was a King Edward man.

Bill,
I showed Sadie a woodcock I shot opening weekend.
She grabbed a hold of the bird and took off running across the yard with it.

Dave,

A Woodcock? Well now we know she likes the stinky birds you should not have a problem with the fetching part.
