Interesting custom engraving on this Trojan. I think they did a nice job for what it is. Would like to see the action colored or polished instead of blued. Some of the scroll work actually looks true to Parker form in some spots.

Nice scroll work, Birds are sort of strange but a nice piece. A good shooter

I really like the birds, especially the rear duck. Reminds me of a duck that has spent too much time posing for a "hanging game" artist.

I can see where you would like that duck.

The birds on the side are nice, but they bother me just a tad in regards to their placement in relation to the action screws. The treatment on the bottom of the receiver is beautiful though!

The barrel wedge engraving kinda reminds me of Fox's.

I also just noticed what looks like a shot shield on both the buttstock AND the forend. Odd...

Looks as if the wood and checkering, chokes, barrel length, chamber length, stock LOP, serial number, etc. are not important to the seller.

OK, I give up. What is a shot shield?

The owner probably wants to recoup the $ he spent on the engraving and refinish. I think it looks like a $2500 engraving job and another $450 for the refinish. Then there is the $500 he spent for the gun. Therefore IMHO he is hunting for $3500 for the gun, or $4000 if he wants to make some profit for his efforts.

It would be a nice shooter. If I had $4,000 around to spend on a new/old Parker I'd buy a DH. I do like his gun however. But I like all Parkers.
