This is a 28ga. I have more dog than Grouse but the style looks similiar.

Hello Bruce

Greetings from the warm Florida Keys ... although originally a Pennsylvania farmer. Can you share more about this specific Parker? Grade, gauge, originality, specifications, etc. and other photos of the grouse engraving to my email address on record? Also, it all depends on when you ever decide to trade or sell this specific parker but would you contact me if/when that time arrives? The trigger plate grouse engraving on your parker is remarkable!

Andrew

The gun is an early Quality A 12 ga owned by a Missouri turnip farmer. We will likely exhibit it at the Pheasant Fest in Des Moines Feb 22 and the NRA show in Nashville in mid April.

Did this gun originally surface in the Orvis gun room in VT? Did it live in Charlottesville VA for a while? Did it show up at our annual meeting in Chantilly VA? If so, pictures really don't do it justice - you have to see it in hand to fully appreciate the detail and execution of the engraving. Definitely one of the most charismatic A-grades ever.

:usa:Bruce - I can only possibly make it to the Nashville TN show when this will be on display as I live way too far South to travel (Lower Florida Keys & Key West) to the Des Moines show in February. Please do make my intentions known to the Turnip Farmer owner of my interest ...if the time comes when he would like to place it with a "fit" new owner. If he is willing to permit you to post additional photos, the gun's dimensions please do. My contact information is in the directory.

No sport shooting here in the Keys...just tight fishing lines for now....and feeding the "visitors" to my dock every morning wishing...but still collecting !

Hello; am I in the room? Still on the forum?? Anyone have any answers to my questions?? More questions?? Another 'high-end collector who wishes to remain anonymous'?? What's wrong with a little 'reverse 'Schadenfreude', guys!? To quote one of our best, "Share the knowledge."

Quality B and grouse.

I have no idea what a Schadenfreude is, regardless of reverse, behind or on top.
