What is Addieville East Farm like?

Guys I know it is a year away. But I am considering making the trip to Addieville for the Vintage Cup next September.

It will be a 10 hour drive for me. I know nothing about the course/ set up/ etc.
I am sure it will be nice. Just looking for some comments/ experiences about the place.

John, Addieville East is a first class venue. We have our New England Fun Shoot there for the past 7 years and we will be doing it again next year in May. We invite you up for a first hand experience. Robin Hollow Outfitters is also located on the grounds of Addieville. There are two 100 target sporting courses,5 stand and Mad Jack. The main (upper) course is laid out in a large circle and host's some of the most prized shoots here in New England. Easy walking and very cart friendly. Jack has always done great job for us and he is a great host! Check out the albums link there are pictures from this years shoot on there.

Hi John,
Addieville East Farm is a great place to shoot. It has two very challenging sporting clays courses as well as a 5-stand course with elevated shooting positions. The clubhouse is very nice but not large. There is at least one field that can be used for overflow parking if necessary, but the mowed area adjacent to the clubhouse and Robin Hollow Outfitters should be large enough for a few "Big-Tops" to house vendors booths and tables as well as enough parking for 80-100 cars. There is a really nice trout pond down behind the clubhouse but I don't know if it is open for non-members as it has really big trout that have been stocked. I think everybody will like it. I have checked online and have found some very good hotels within a short 10-20 minute drive along with some decent restaurants.

Did you guys ever shoot there for the Vintage Cup?
They told us they are going back to their roots. So I am assuming this is where it all started.

The last Vintage Cup held at Addieville was about eight years ago. My first was at Sandanona after it left Addieville.

Look in Smithville, RI or Mapleville, RI for lodging and dining.
