I've had this old Winchester shipper box in storage for quite a while, and was wondering if it could possibly be a Parker Repro box.
It came with a used gun purchase I made years ago, from a dealer who did sell some repros. I thought maybe a Winchester M-23, but I tried, and mine doesn't fit.
Dimensions are as follows:
BBL Sleeve - 32"L
Fore-end Sleeve - 12" L x 3 3/8" H x 1 7/8" T
Rec/Butt-Stock Sleeve - 19 1/2" L x 4 5/8" @ Butt - 1 7/8" @ Frt/Receiver
Here are pic's:

There are no markings or labels on the box ends, so I have no idea what came in this box.

Todd,
That box looks identical to the Repro box except for absence of the discription label.

Thanks, Bob. Whatever was shipped in that box was a very petite little gun. I started to try to use it to ship a little LC Smith Field Grade 16 ga. and it wouldn't fit. Then I had the thought that probably the only thing that would fit, would be a small bore SxS, with a straight stock.
I bought a little Italian made Charles Daly 20 some years ago from a gun dealer, and asked if he had a box for it. He fished around in the back room, and came up with the Winchester box. I don't EVER throw away gun boxes. I put it up on an auction site, so maybe someone can match it up to the appropriate gun.
