I know a few people here bid on it, but was anyone here the lucky winner of the SBT on Gunbroker that closed yesterday? If so, I can give you a helpful hint on it. Looked like a good gun at a good buy

Yes, I bought item # 907031211 on the 13th. I just got it from the little brown truck today. I am very pleased with it (especially the price). It appears to be all original and well maintained. What helpful hint do you have for me?

I just looked at the listing. That IS a very honest gun for the money.

Gosh, that seller is just up the road from me. I should pay closer attention. An original Parker forend is not an uncommon item on internet sites. Give them a look.

That would have been perfect for Harry. The Fred Gilbert SBT is too long in both directions for him. This one is much more compact.

I am just on the prowl for something else at the moment

I saw an interesting SBT at Shooters Outpost in Hooksett, New Hampshire recently. They have it listed for around $1,500. They have a web site but do not post their for sale guns. You will have to call them to get details and a pic.

I have recently acquired a 1920 PARKER BROS. and know very little about Parker guns. I believe it to be a SBT. It is a single barrel 12 gauge with a 32" barrel (Acme Steel). It also has a vented rib. It appears to be all original and in very good condition. It has a C above the serial # and a 4 under the serial#. Can anyone explain the meaning of this?

Both the "C" and the "4" designate the grade of the gun. It is, indeed a Single Barrel Trap, SC. [S stands for single and C for the grade of engraving.

I am sure the members here would appreciate some photos of your Parker!

About two threads down, "Another Interesting One on Gunbroker", discusses the Dr. Pollard Parker SBT.
