sure enough good picture...these are the kinda pictures you dont get to see often... a deer taken with a double barrel and a good looking parker to boot...what gauge of gun was this deer taken with andwhat was the load buckshot or slug....do you load your own shells....we in miss. also still can hunt with dogs and we still do man drives from time to time....please relive the story with us....i killed a nice doe with old 8 ga parker last year with buckshot.... thanks for a fine picture charlie

With a name like Rutledge what else would he shoot a deer with! Very nice, having never killed a deer with a Parker shotgun I'm envious to say the least.

My 1897 C Grade Parker Bernard Steel barrels letter to a Charleston customer who wanted the 32" part of the two barrel set to "pattern tight with buckshot". I'm waiting for an invitation to get these barrels working again. I'm not serious about the invitation, but "what a gun".
