I have a bunch of old Federal paper 28 ga, 2 3/4" hulls. I would like to load some low pressure loads if anyone has a lead on them. My old manuals only have wads that I haven't been able to locate.

You can get paper wads from www.circlefly.com - with paper wads and a roll crimp pressures will be a lot lower than plastic wads. Paul

when you get your load figured outand its shooting fine but still a little more preasure than you like back off a grain at a time of powder and you will achive the load you like best....charlie

was looking through thecollector ammo on gunbroker and run up on this what i thought was a unique load...it was federal brand 20 ga 2 3/4 inch with 1 1/4 ounce pay load i thought this uncommon because most magnum 20 ga 2 3/4 in areeither 1 ounce or 1 1/8 ounce....this seems to be a unique load to me...have any of you other fellows ever noticed a load of 1 1/4 ouncein a 2 3/4 inch shell before....this would be a good box to have for the 20 ga collector...charlie

I think I have 15 or so 1-1/4oz vintage 20 ga paper shells, but they may be 3". Can't remember. They're in Michigan.... I gave Destry one for his collection.
