What would be a good price for a CHE,12ga..original wood and metal..
Seller has offered it to me for $5,500.I have several lower Parkers but have no experience on these higher grades,. Gun is coming out of an estate, been out:bowdown: of use for years.
Any comments would be welcome.

buy it immediately and consider the asking price a bargain.

Or you can counter offer with $8000 to 10,000, which is what even modest 12ga C's have been selling for.

Now I haven't seen the gun and this should not be taken as a valuation of this specific gun. But I'm getting excited about it and its not even being offered to me.

If it's in any shape at all.... I'd do that deal before they change their mind.

It really totally depends on originality and condition. That sounds like an attractive price if all original with "used but not abused condition". If you can post some pictures we could give you a better idea of value.

Well folks,
I bought this gun this morning.
Gun is a live bird gun as it does not have a safety.
Barrels are 32"//LOP is 14" to the skell engraved metal plate.
Stock is checkered under the plate.
Side engraveing has the usual two pointers.
Bottom of receiver is engraved with a running stag..
SN IS 159--- 1912..Ithink ?
I may not shoot it any better than my V grades but I sure will look good!!
