I bought a 20 gauge Repro, DT, English, BTFE, 26" Mod/IC and measured the choke constriction.
Right .004
Left .006
Im guessing that the chokes have been opened up. Would some of you measure your Mod/IC chokes so I can compare?

Thanks as always:bowdown:

I don't have a 20-ga. Parker Repro choked IC/M, but I do have two of them factory choked Q1/Q2. My 26" gun is choked .004/.007 and the 28" gun is choked .0025/.006. I would have to believe your gun has been opened up.

I've got a 28 repro in the same configuration and the 26" barrels, marked Q1 and Q2, are choked .004/.006 and they make me look pretty damn good on the skeet field.

Gotta ask: what's the California 10-day Gun Jail?

There is a 10 day waiting period when buying a gun. The Buyers FFL holds the gun while a background check is conducted.

These chokes have been opened. I did the same thing to my 20 bore. I sent the barrels to Briley in Houston and had them opened to .003 and .005 from IC/Mod. I hit far more clays now and I'm enjoying my 20 bore more. These tolerances are just about the tolerences for the Q1 and Q2 chokes. From a practical point of view I think these more open chokes make the gun more fun.
