Is 176,127 the Lowest Serial # Single Trap?

I just lettered my 176,128 and the lowest number I could find in the SB, 176,127. Are there any lower serial numbers out there?

I have # 177962 and according to "Parker Letter" was completed on May 14, 1917. Letter states mine was ordered by DuPont Company for one of their employees. I always thought mine was one of the earliest SBT.

By the way, the letter on 176,127 doesn't make any mention of the fact that it is an early single or that it may be the first.

Bill I believe yours is the earliest known Parker SBT. Here’s an old thread where it talks about the earliest known SBT.

There sure has been a bumper crop of SBT's on the market lately. Thinking a boom is usually followed by a bust, I went ahead and got one. Mine is in the 183xxx range

Mike, thanks for the thread. I brought that thread to the top with a new post. Order books 95 and 97 seem to be available and are in the right period for earlier singles than my 176,128 and the other early gun from the Serialization Book, 176,127. An additional piece of news for us. According to my notes, 176,100 was a single that was carried around by Arthur DuBray. The DuBray gun is apparently mentioned in either order book 95 or 97 because it is not listed in the SB but records are available, according to our website.

DuBray's #176,100 doesn't seem to be listed on his inventory of guns posted by John Davis. I don't know where I got that number. Does anyone know?
