These are historic times we're living in.

I'm not sure I remember anything Dean has said, but he's said a lot.

Dean is the most prolific writer on the Parker gun in history. I say bravo! You can’t have a vibrant forum without active participants. Thank you Dean for investing your time with this group.

If John D's server crashes at 25,000, it has been nice knowing you guys

Can someone please post the momentous message, I seem to have missed it while earning my meager daily gruel.

Dan, while I had hoped it would have been something of universai (among Parker aficiobados at least) value, I seem to have wasted it on something mundane...

This post is number 25,003

While I’m not in competition with anyone, or anything for that matter, I only hope I can contribute to the general knowledge, or at least ask pertinent questions that so contribute.
Certainly there are those who believe I talk too much (Kathy for one) and to them I apologize, but I plan to continue to contribute.

Thanks to all for the kind words and good thoughts.

Best, Dean

My wife made a pan of brownies in honor of the occasion. I held off until I had eaten Dean's, then Dan's. I had mine with a big glass of milk.

I forgot. I had Allan Swanson's too

I doubt those figures include private messages he sent to many members. I know I value those notes/replies to me while I was an annual member. That is what moved me to become a lifetime member. Not only am I invested in Parkers and the story of this fine gun and the other products from Charles Parker, I feel a bond with all the members, regardless of membership status, that speaks to what we are as a people and a nation.
My daily visits to this site help me wade through the pain we are feeling with the current struggles we share as a momentarily somewhat divided nation, not to mention the loss of my bride after forty eight years. Thank you, Dean, for your patience and energy you muster as we move along. The Right Stuff.

I know most of you all know this... But for some who don't Dean is the gentle hand that guides all of us here... It just wouldn't be the same without him.

Thanks for that Dean.....
