Took my son-in-law out to shoot trap on Sunday - his first time. He shot my 12ga Sterly and surprised himself by actually hitting some! I hadn't had a gun in my hand since last January; I beat 20 all four rounds with a couple of 22's - wouldn't win any trophies but I was pretty satisfied. My SC might look a little funny with its whacked barrel, but I'll tell ya, it'll bust 'em so long as I do my part!

You remember it Bill; bought it from Mike Murphy's several years back. I believe you said you had talked to them about it. 34-incher cut to 27-1/4" for reasons unknown (or at least undiscovered at this point). The sellers claimed "a good amount of choke remaining" but never produced any bore measurements. Anyhow, I think it's worth what I paid for it - at least it is to me. I wrote about her in the 2017 Summer DGJ. Notice no pics of the muzzle end; I didn't want to embarrass her :o

That was a good article, btw. Earlier this year, when I actually had gun money, there was a decent SBT for $1500. I hesitated and it was gone
