It seems like just yesterday we went to Vermont for a few day to breed Olga's Grace of Coronation with Burdock's Coronation (and what a handsome boy he is!) and 63 short days later Grace blessed us with a wonderful litter of eight beautiful Twombly Setter pups.

Grace and her pups are happy and healthy.... but Kathy and I are still trying to get back some of the sleep we've lost in the last three days.

Congratulations to Grace, and most certainly to you and Kathy, Dean! There is something special about having a new litter of pups in the house - way beyond the lack of sleep!

Keep us posted on their progress, Dean!

Five females and three males. This will fill the orders perfectly - everybody gets the gender they wanted.

Nothing like a litter of new born puppies to make me smile.

Wonderful! You'll have extend family to keep tabs on and by next Thanksgiving I am guessing you'll hear stories of their conquests.

No John, They all have loving homes waiting for them. Only two of them are hunting families - the others simply want a setter as a companion dog for their kids or for themselves... and that's not a bad thing at all. Setters make wonderful house pets and terrific therapy dogs. Legh and Jenn Higgins (owners of Coronation Kennels where we got Grace, and of Burdock, Grace's 'boyfriend' { https://www.twomblysetters.com }) bring several of their Twombly Setters to area senior centers, nursing homes, and pediatric hospitals to brighten the days of the patients there.

Best, Dean

Grace is a great dog and I'm sure her pups will grow to be great as well.
You might be exhausted now but you will be sad when they are gone.
Thanks for the photos. I passed them along to my kids.

Based on the X-rays of Grace's belly full of puppies showing 7, we took orders on 7 pups... but she whelped 8. We had a potential buyer for the 8th but that didn't work out so, stay tuned...
