DOES PGCA HAVE ROOMS BLOCKED FOR SEPTEMBERS VINTAGE GUNERS CUP?

Not to the best of my knowledge Steve.

Shoot Dave Suponski a PM or Steve Cambria.
I won't be in attendance and am not involved with this event.

Steve- seems the best deal is the Hampton Inn in Middletown, DE. The Vintagers already had a block set up at $136/ night. They have plenty of rooms and I made my arrangements earlier this week.

Josh, unless you have a special deal, the Hampton is not available for Thursday thru Sunday. At least not available online.

If you call the Hampton and give them the rate code "HGF" you should be able to get the Vintagers room block.

Nope, no room available for Sept 23 checking out Sept 24. Spoke to someone and told them the rate code. If I go, I'll probably make a round trip on Saturday. Makes for a long day! This is a poor location to hold a large shoot. The hotel options are very limited.

You could stay in Easton. Lots of rooms there. It's not too far from Hopkins.
Good luck!

I agree Chuck, I believe Pintail Point would have been a better location. For those interested there are a couple of B&B's in Rock Hall, Md. which is a lot closer and you may want to look at hotels on Kent Island in Stevensville, Md. About the same distance as is Middletown, De. Buddy's suggestion of Easton is also a good alternative. The problem with Hopkin's is you can't get there from here. You have to either go up and around the top of the bay or go across the bay bridge, mid bay, and fight the Ocean city traffic on the weekends. I live north of Balto. and I'm looking at a 90mi. trip one way.

Thanks for the suggestion Buddy but I'm coming down from the north and Easton is well south of Kennedyville.

Got a reservation for Saturday. For some reason, calling the 800#, and giving them the rate code, they said none was available. Calling the motel directly solved the problem.

Josh, count me in on dinner!

Glad it worked out. See you there.

For those of you coming down from the North, the Hampton Inn in Middleton, DE has plenty of rooms available. There is a block under Hopkins Game Farm and the rate is $169/per night. I called them today to verify this. You'll need to call the hotel directly (see info below).

This hotel is, according to Google, 26 minutes from Hopkins. For the sake of comparison, the Hampton Inn in Easton is 23 minutes from Pintail Pointe. Not a big difference from years past.

Well, my fault for waiting so late, but I tried many places south of Hopkins and everything was booked. The Hampton Inn in Middletown had rooms still available, so that's where I'll be. Hope to see you guys there!
