When might a Parker SBT with a serial number of around 101350 been made?
Thanks!
Jim

Are you certain about that serial number?

The very first SBT in the records is 177318, however a SBT with serial number beginning 176XXX has been found. The Parker Bros. SBT was introduced in 1917.

Never, that was before they started making them.

Thanks ---that confirms what I believed. The owner is indicating that it is this ser #. The photos I have seen show the pigeon on the underside.
Thanks for the replies.
Is there a listing of SBT ser # and dates of manufacture?
Jim

That serial number is around the year 1900 or 1901.

All you have to do to determine the date of manufacture is to tell us the serial number of the gun. No fuss, no muss.

I went from memory and I think I was close.

Dean, the original poster has to tell us the serial number of the gun in question. He hasn't done that yet. We want to help him and give him as much information as we can.

Bill, the serial number he gives in his first post is close enough for me to hazard a guess as to the year made.

You mean a single trap made in 1902??

That's right Bill - that's why I question the accuracy of the serial number given him by the seller. We know 1901 is not possible for a Parker Bros. SBT and that's why I question him here....

The seller finally sent me an updated email with the correct ser # which is 191432. Am I correct this was made in 1920? It does have the pigeon on the bottom plate.
Thanks for all you assistance?

Made in 1920 but we have no records for this gun. Sounds like a SC grade gun.
