I'm new here and looking for information about 14 gauge shells, sold by Winchester at the turn of the century to be hand loaded. I was told parker made 14 gauge shotguns? I'm looking to see just how rare these shells and boxes are and if there is value in this stuff?

Steve: I have the same in 12 ga. At the Vegas show for 125.00 but would think that I would double that for 14 ga. And that could be a low estimate but sure others will chime in. Thomas

Steve, call Eric at Wards he is a good guy to deal with, he can tell you about what your shells will bring.

That cutaway is quite valuable, but it's difficult to determine it's condition in the photo.

will post some more. The cutaway is 12 gauge. Came with the box and primers and a powder loading manual.

According to Stadt, the "NEW RIVAL olive green shells were offered empty and loaded in 10, 12, 14, 16, and 20 gauges from 1897 to 1920. The 14 gauge shell, however, was not offered loaded after 1917."
