Calvin,

When there is a tournament at the local sporting clay course, I ask one of the trappers to save all the hulls they pick up. I slip her $20.00 and ask when I can pick them up. You have to sort through about four or five garbage bags of hulls to get one bag of what you want.

Jeez forgot 2 say the guage,20. Well Harry next time your digging if you don't want the 20 remington sts you could through them in a bucket and I would pay you some fore your time. If you don't want to that would be just fine also. Have a good one fellows! ch

Calvin, why StS's? Loads and Loads of the Rem gun club and AA's out there. I get 8+ reloads out of mine, with Lp loads

Tim,
Just starting shotgunshell realoading. My friend was setup and using sts and they looked like a million bucks. I just thought if its working why change but i find out sts hulls are a little pricy so I'm going to try some aa. Jett my sone 6 grade can go through the shells. Bought a thrower with cabelas points. Got my hand stuck in it it really hurt would of been funny to watch might of won America's funnest videos with some censorship. ch

Calvin,
Are you loading lower pressure stuff? and do you have a supply of the the AA's? Be happy to share my 1150 fps, less that 8000psi, 3/4 oz load recipe, and if you need some hulls to get started I can help with that.
BTW I use the AA's and Rem Gun Clubs interchangably. Not any thing of a problem with the soft sissy stuff I like to shoot. 2-300+ a day with no soreness.

Calvin, pm me your address. I'll ship a couple of bags of the wads I use. Balistic products sp20longs, for the 3/4 oz. It's not a big deal as I buy them in lots of about 50 bags to get the best price.
What reloader are you using?

I prefer the clays, but use the green dot more, cause it's what I use for 16's. You let me know which one you get, what press your using and I'll get you the info, and a few hundered hulls and wads to get you going.

Clay target shooters throw away 20 gauge Gun Clubs by the thousands. Find a place to buy Gun Club shells for about five bucks a box and save the empties.

Bill is absolutely correct...... and they reload nice. Like I said I get at least 8 reloads out of them, and have thousands. No appreciable difference between the AA's and the Gun Club hulls, as far as reloading, and none with LP loads
