My dad passed away and his family trust simple said his assets would be split evenly to his 5 children. Among those assets is an old Parker 20 guage shotgun now sitting in storage along with some file boxes and furniture etc.

Meanwhile, my neice let it be known that she wanted to give the Parker to her fiance as a wedding gift (her fiance had previously seen the gun). That would be fine with me and my siblings if the gun is worth say $500 or so... If it's worth ten times or 100 times that, well that's another story.

I'm looking for a rough approximation of it's value. Please help.

It's a 20 guage with a serial number of 103731. Thank you.

I isn't worth 10 times or a 100 times the $500 you put on it but it is worth roughly 3 or 4 times that.

Thanks all. The gun will go to my neice to then be a gift to her fiance at their wedding. His grandfather had a Parker that he was hoping would be passed down to him; his uncle ended up with it. He'll really appreciate it. He's just finished 8 years in the military and is now home for good. I'm glad he'll have it.

The gun is in well used condition and the buttstock is not original to the gun.

But it is worth at least $1,000 in its current state as a hunter or restoration candidate.

The only thing that looks interesting about it is the barrel length. They look a little longer than most 20g. guns would be.
