This year's Headwaters Land Conservancy Shoot is being held on Saturday, August 23 at the Lewiston Sportsmen's League. 100 targets and a catered lunch, all for $100. If you register before August 10, you will be entered into a drawing for a flat of shotgun shells. There will be an abundance of prizes available, and some really neat items will be raffled off.

Last year, we had a really successful introductory event, and this year's event is shaping up as bigger and better.

If all goes as planned, you will also have the opportunity to watch three Michigan teenagers who between them hold international, national, and state titles.
The Lewiston course is really a good one. It is situated on an old ski hill, so the views are spectacular. COB, Setter Man and Dollar Grade have shot there, and are still smiling.

Hope to see you there. Contact me with any questions.

Thanks, John

Fair warning, Michiganders (Michiganians?) Sign up before August 10 and you are entered in a drawing for a flat of shells. Look forward to reconnecting with some of the brothers

John, What, no Michigeese? Sure wish I could make it but our local club is having its annual summer event that day. Much of my G&W hunting is to the east of Lewiston and north of Mio. Would like to meet you sometime. Fred

Fred - You must be hunting a bit south of the club. It's about 3 miles east, and 4-5 miles north of the Redwood Steak House in Lewiston. Maybe next year.

OK. Last chance - "Allie allie in free". Our shoot is this Saturday. Hope some of you Michiganders can show up and show off some of those dangerous damascus guns. Pls let me know so I can ensure enough grub for everyone.
