One of the things which keeps me out of trouble (or in it!) is chairing the Headwaters Land Conservancy in NE Michigan. The conservancy works to protect large tracts of land, keeping them from being subdivided. One of our major fundraisers is a Sporting Clays shoot at the Lewiston Sportsmen's League in Lewiston, MI, which is about 40 minutes east of Gaylord.
100 targets and a catered lunch, lots of prizes. $100 will do it. The course is one of the prettiest around, set on an old ski resort. I know that Kurt D, COB and Jay Gardner have all shot there, and walked away smiling.
Hope to see a bunch of you guys can make it, and show folks how nice those dangerous old S x S guns can be.
