A sneak peek of our new composite Barrel finishing room. 100 year old formulas and process, tech'd up a bit.

Certainly a much nicer workplace than the poor guys at Parker probably worked in. I always envisioned the Meriden factory a century and a quarter ago as a nasty smoke-filled environment hazardous to one's health. We have come a long way in this country. Congratulations Brad.

Very impressive.

One advantage in the old plant was that all of the needed heat was boiler generated. We don't use our steam generator for tank heating rather we rely on gas burners. This creates the need for a heavy duty air makeup system and significant ambient temperatures. They most likely just opened a window if they needed to. I wish pictures existed.

Brad, that is a great setup! i've got a couple sets of composites that need to hang around there.
Are those trigger guards being rust blued?

I wish it was. We run slow rust following Damascus. It is a Crown Grade Trap Smith. The rest are Damascus.
David those are guards. Nitre is done in an adjoining area. They are drying over the oil tank.

I ran yours two sessions ago. We are just about ready to assemble and test, however it is so spectacular that I hate to part with it.

I am the only one that gets to shoot it, but only in the snail. I don't think that I am supposed to field test it, darn it.

Guys, I was fortunate enough to visit right after he moved to his new facility, he now has ample room and a great set up, you got to take your hat off to Brad, because he is trying to get all the different rooms organized and still get our guns finished and back to us in a decent time, when he gets everything finished which will be ongoing he will have a lot less turnaround time which we all want and Brad is striving to do!
