For all those that plan on attending this years Vintagers World SxS Championship at Addieville East Farm in Mapleville,RI Ray Poudrie has added another event to the schedule. I am posting it here for those that may be interested.
ATTENTION: A.H. Fox Collectors, German Gun Collectors, L.C. Smith Collectors, Lefever Collectors, Parker Gun Collectors and Vintagers (Order of Edwardian Gunners).
This years' Vintage Cup will offer a Society Celebration match between collectors clubs. The match will be shot using the "12 Gauge Preliminary Event" score card and course (concurrent), but using any gauge. The best cumulative score of four team entrants will win the match. The number of entrants will be limited to five for each team. A society may provide one, two or more teams, but each entrant will need to designate which team he/she is on (i.e., Vintagers Team 1, or Vintagers Team 2). This is a competition, but it is also a celebration of the guns about which we are passionate. The guns to be used are to reflect the shooter's passion. Vintagers are to use double guns of Great Britain and its' Dominions. Fox Collectors to use Fox guns, etc. All gauges to qualify, side-by-side only, not more than 1 and 1/8 ounce shot.
We know these guns can all shoot great scores.
