I was at a gun auction this weekend and found this in a box lot!
It is marked 1938 in crayon on the cover.
First one I have found! Must have been a neat place.

I have owned a few Foxes that went through here, and I know they moved a ton of Parkers also.
Tryon was a true wholesaler distributor, you had to have referances from two or three hardware or sporting goods jobbers to set up an account.
If you wanted to see their stock you had to make an appointment.
It appears that EK Tryon was in the right place at the right time to be a major Fox Shotgun wholesaler.

Very nice find. I recall seeing that name on my PGCA letters somewhere.

Labowner,
The price listed for the DHE Trap was $276.00. I am not sure if these are Wholsale prices but I would assume so.

$276 was the 1938 list price for a DHE double trap -- $227 for a DHE with a single-selective trigger, plus $19 for a beavertail forearm and $30 for a vent rib. On a called double trap there wasn't an extra charge for the twin sights and the recoil pad. The wholesale prices would have been published on a seperate price sheet.
